World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

  Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

WORLD HEALTH DAY

  WORLD HEALTH DAY Under 'Disha - An Initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, 'World Health Day' was celebrated, delivering awareness sessions about food safety. Meditation was taught through the 'Connecting with Your Soul' activity, in order to restrain and control the mind through spiritual process. The Health and Wellness Club conducted 'Symposium through Peers' activity with the children, in which the discussion was done on World Health Organization. The children were made aware about nutritious diet, cleanliness and food habits. Tips on healthy diet were shared, thereby highlighting the significance of good health.

Free Medical Check-up Camp

  A comprehensive medical camp hosted by  DISHA, at Guru Ravidas Mandir, Mehatpur, provided crucial FREE health services to the community. Specialists including Eye Surgeon Dr. Rohan Bowry, Diabetes Specialist Dr. Sahil Kalia, and Dental Surgeon Dr. Aastha Bowry, along with their teams from reputable medical facilities, administered free checkups and distributed medicines as well. The event, facilitated by Bowry Memorial Educational & Medical Trust, addressed various health concerns such as eye ailments, dental issues, kidney problems, and general health checkups. Patients received personalized care and guidance from expert professionals. This collaborative effort underscores a commitment to public welfare and accessible healthcare in the community.
