Under DISHA, an initiative run and managed by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust Innocent Hearts observed World Anti Tobacco Day. All five branches of Innocent Hearts School—Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road—along with Innocent Hearts College of Education and Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, observed World No Tobacco Day with great enthusiasm and commitment. The observance was centred around the theme, “Say No to Drugs and Say Yes to Life.” A variety of awareness activities were organized to educate students about the harmful effects of tobacco and substance abuse. The Sports and Wellness Club presented a thought-provoking street play highlighting the dangers of tobacco consumption. The program has been dedicated as a tribute to the visionary leadership, compassion, and lifelong commitment of Late Mrs. Kamlesh Bowry towards education and social welfare. On this occasion, Dr. Rohan Bowry shared that, in collaboration with Innocent Hearts Eye Centre, a pilot program is being launched under which all children across the various branches of schools and colleges will undergo vision screening in the coming months.
