World Environment Day Celebrations at IHGI – Nurturing Eco-Conscious Leaders of Tomorrow

Every year, World Environment Day serves as a global reminder that our environment is not just a resource, but a responsibility. At Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions (IHGI), we believe in transforming awareness into action — and this year, our enthusiastic students rose to the occasion with creative and meaningful eco-friendly projects.

To mark World Environment Day 2025, IHGI conducted online activities that empowered students to take environmental stewardship into their own hands. Armed with recyclable materials and innovative ideas, our young eco-warriors created:

Bottle Planters
Mini Compost Jars
Newspaper Bags

These hands-on activities not only demonstrated sustainable living practices but also reinforced the idea that small changes at the individual level can trigger a massive impact on our planet.

Under 'Disha- An Initiative' (run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust), 'World Sight Day' was celebrated in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) to make the children aware about visual impairment and blindness and also to promote the importance of vision health.
