Striving for the all round development & aiming to imbibe the cultural sense in the young generation, a cultural program cum Annual Prize Distribution Function 'Bestowal to the Best' was organized under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust at Innocent Hearts School whereby the students from all the branches of Innocent Hearts participated with great zeal coupled with enthusiasm & enthralled the audience with their incredible performances. Like every year, this year also, the meritorious students securing more than 90% marks along with the best players in various sports at International, National and State level were awarded & applauded by BMEMT with prizes, Scholarships etc. Dr. Dheeraj Banati, Deputy Director threw light on the commendable accomplishments of BMEMT not only in the field of education, but also in the field of medicine.
Under 'Disha- An Initiative' (run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust), 'World Sight Day' was celebrated in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) to make the children aware about visual impairment and blindness and also to promote the importance of vision health. Director CSR , Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry gave important tips to children for eye care and advised them to keep the eyes healthy , add balanced diet in their routine, reduce screen time, get regular eye checkups done. Further, she enlightened the children about a remarkable 20- formula, as per which one should focus on something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes as it immensely helps in relaxing the eyes while watching the screen and preventing damage caused by continuous screen viewing. facebook
