Awareness Session- World Breast Feeding Week

 


Under Disha- an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Innocent Hearts Multispecialty Hospital arranged a knowledgeable session for the mothers of newborn babies on the occasion of 'World Breastfeeding Week', in order to educate & aware them on the need & benefits of breastfeeding till the age of six months from the child’s birth.

The resource person was an eminent doctor who explained that all the family members must create a happy and comfortable environment for the mother to breastfeed her newborn baby.  She also gave some valuable tips to the working mothers to manage their time for breastfeeding.

Under 'Disha- An Initiative' (run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust), 'World Sight Day' was celebrated in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) to make the children aware about visual impairment and blindness and also to promote the importance of vision health. Director CSR , Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry gave important tips to children for eye care and advised them to keep the eyes healthy , add  balanced diet in their routine, reduce  screen time, get regular eye checkups done.
