'Bestowal to the Best' Annual Function

The annual prize distribution ceremony 'Bestowal to the Best' was organized under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, in which children participated with great enthusiasm. Mr. Kanwardeep Singh (Chairman, Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission) played the role of the chief guest and renowned social worker Mrs. Suman Sareen was the special guest.A wonderful cultural program was presented by the students. Orchestra, robotic dance, western dance, fusion ballet and hip-hop dances presented by children enthralled the audience.

Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR) enlightened the audience about the commendable efforts and work being done under 'Disha- an initiative' being run under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust. She said that not only in the field of education but also in the field of medicine, Bowry Memorial Trust has done commendable work by achieving milestones. She mentioned that the Trust is continuously striving for the betterment of the youth. The work done by Bowry Memorial Trust for the betterment of the society is truly praiseworthy.This organization has always been striving for the all-round development of children. Furthermore, achievers at National and State level were awarded and scholarship cheques were presented to the meritorious students.
In the annual award distribution ceremony, the chief guest Mr. Kanwarpreet Singh, Dr. Anup Bowry (Chairman of Innocent Hearts Group), Dr. Romesh Sood (President of Bowry Memorial Trust) and Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry awarded the students who got more than 90% marks in class 10th and 12th. Meritorious students were honoured with awards. The best performers in the field of dance, music and acting were also honored. Dr. Rohan Bowry (Deputy Director Medical Services, Innocent Hearts Group) and other members of the Bowry Memorial Trust were also present at the function.

World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

THREE DAY “SPORTS CAMP”

A Three-Day Sports Camp for categories: U-14, U-17 and U-19 was conducted successfully at Innocent Hearts, Loharan under the aegis of BMEMT, covering multiple sports (Cricket, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis and Karate) whereby the winning teams & best players were awarded with certificates & prizes.
