The campus of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions (IHGI) turned into a vibrant arena of energy, excitement, and sportsmanship as the Sports Club successfully organized a Volleyball and Badminton Tournament. This much-awaited event showcased the athletic talent, competitive spirit, and unwavering determination of our young sports enthusiasts.

With cheers echoing across the courts and every match keeping the audience at the edge of their seats, the tournament was a grand celebration of physical fitness, skill, and unity.


Volleyball Tournament: High Energy & Team Excellence

The Volleyball matches delivered electrifying performances with intense rallies, swift coordination, and strategic play.

Winners – Manmohit’s Team

Demonstrating outstanding teamwork, discipline, and resilience, Manmohit’s team clinched the Gold Medal. Their synergy and communication on the court made them the undeniable champions of the tournament.

Runners-up – Rohit’s Team

Not far behind, Rohit’s team exhibited remarkable grit and passion, earning the Silver Medal with their commendable efforts and sportsmanship.

Both teams set an example of what it truly means to play fair, play hard, and play with heart.


 Girls’ Badminton Doubles: Grace Meets Grit

The Girls' Badminton Doubles event was another highlight, with fierce competition and powerful gameplay lighting up the court.

Champions – Gurharleen & Muskan

This dynamic duo dominated the court with agility, tactical precision, and flawless coordination. Their aggressive smashes and intelligent placements earned them the title of champions.

Runners-up – Riya & Mehak

Riya and Mehak gave a tough fight, showing excellent court coverage and quick reflexes. They finished as well-deserved runners-up, showcasing perseverance and talent.


Celebrating Sportsmanship & Student Excellence

The IHGI Volleyball and Badminton Tournament was more than just a sports event. It was a celebration of discipline, leadership, collaboration, and resilience. Students not only competed but also learned the values of fair play, determination, and mutual respect — traits that will benefit them far beyond the playing field.

The Sports Club deserves a special mention for its meticulous planning, fair conduct, and enthusiastic execution of the event. Teachers, coaches, and volunteers played a crucial role in ensuring everything ran smoothly, while students supported their peers with cheers and encouragement.

Under 'Disha- An Initiative' (run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust), 'World Sight Day' was celebrated in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) to make the children aware about visual impairment and blindness and also to promote the importance of vision health. Director CSR , Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry gave important tips to children for eye care and advised them to keep the eyes healthy , add  balanced diet in their routine, reduce  screen time, get regular eye checkups done.   Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust (BMEMT)  an eye & Dental check up camp was conducted, which offered a valuable opportunity to monitor and protect the students' vision, focussing on the health and well-being of the children  .

'Bestowal to the Best' Annual Function

  The annual prize distribution ceremony 'Bestowal to the Best' was organized under the aegis of  Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, in which children participated with great enthusiasm.  Mr. Kanwardeep Singh (Chairman, Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission) played the role of the chief guest and renowned social worker Mrs. Suman Sareen was the special guest.A wonderful cultural program was presented by the students. Orchestra, robotic dance, western dance, fusion ballet and hip-hop dances presented by children enthralled the audience.  Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR) enlightened the audience about the commendable efforts and work being done under 'Disha- an initiative' being run under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust.
