"Yoga for One Earth, One Health"


Under the visionary aegis of Disha – An Initiative run by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, the Innocent Hearts Group celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga with great fervor and devotion across all its campuses. This year’s global theme, "Yoga for One Earth, One Health", set the tone for a series of meaningful and restorative sessions designed to promote unity, well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. The celebrations spanned across all five schools — Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road, and Noorpur Road — along with Innocent Hearts College of Education and the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions (IHGI), Loharan. A special event titled "Yoga Sangam" was thoughtfully organized by the Mental Well-Being Club in collaboration with the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of IHGI. The session was a harmonious blend of ancient yogic traditions and modern mindfulness practices, aimed at cultivating mental clarity, physical vitality, and inner peace among participants. The session was honored by the esteemed presence of Rajinder Kumar Shangari, Prant Prabhari, Bharat Swabhiman Trust / Patanjali Yog Samiti, Punjab, who led the gathering through a sequence of energizing yoga asanas, calming pranayama, and guided meditation techniques.Students and faculty members of school and colleges at their respective campuses participated with enthusiasm and sincerity, embodying the true spirit of mindfulness and global unity. The collective experience created an atmosphere of tranquility and connection, echoing the deeper message of yoga as a universal force for well-being.The initiative reaffirmed Innocent Hearts' commitment to fostering a campus culture that values holistic wellness, emotional balance, and spiritual harmony.

World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

  Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

Medical camp Rampur

  Another such medical camp was organized at village Rampur wherein a team of renowned medical experts- Dr Anup Bowry, Dr. Chander Bowry, Dr. Neenu Sharma & Dr. Raghav Chawla distributed free medicines to more than 500 patients
