Under the aegis of Disha — an initiative run and managed by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Innocent Hearts Colleges and Schools celebrated Diwali Fiesta with great pomp and show, beautifully blending festivity, creativity, and environmental consciousness. All five school campuses — Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road — came alive with lights, colours, and joy as students from Nursery to Grade X participated in a range of creative hands-on activities showcasing imagination and teamwork.  The activities were like Candle and Diya Decoration,  Lantern Making ,Paper Plate Rangoli, Toran (Door Hanging), Glass Aromatic Candle Making,  Lantern Making and Wall Embellishment,  Rangoli Competition.The celebration began with mentors highlighting the significance of Diwali, inspiring students to celebrate it with gaiety, goodwill, and an eco-friendly approach. During the special assembly, students took a pledge to celebrate a Clean and Green Diwali, reflecting their sense of responsibility towards the environment.The campuses of Innocent Hearts College of Education and the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions were beautifully decorated with posters and rangoli designs symbolizing lighting up our hearts and loving our Mother Earth. Adding deeper meaning to the festivities, the Eco Club of Innocent Hearts College of Education organized an ‘Anti-Cracker and Anti-Plastic Campaign’ to promote eco-friendly celebrations. The would-be teachers spread awareness about the harmful effects of pollution caused by crackers in their teaching practice schools. They also crafted Diwali gift packages from recycled materials and pledged not to use plastic bags, reinforcing their commitment to a cleaner, greener planet. The entire celebration truly reflected the spirit of Diwali — spreading light, love and joy.

World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

  Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

Medical camp Rampur

  Another such medical camp was organized at village Rampur wherein a team of renowned medical experts- Dr Anup Bowry, Dr. Chander Bowry, Dr. Neenu Sharma & Dr. Raghav Chawla distributed free medicines to more than 500 patients
