Sustainability Meets Innovation: Highlights from “Prismora – A Spectrum of Skills”
Innocent Hearts School (Green Model Town) recently turned into a hub of creativity and social consciousness during “Prismora – A Spectrum of Skills.” Organized under the Disha initiative by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, the exhibition saw students from Grades VI to VIII tackling real-world problems through the lens of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Innovation in Action: Club Highlights
The exhibition featured a diverse range of projects that blended experiential learning with cutting-edge technology:
Environment & Disaster Prevention: Students showcased "Disaster Alert Pro" (earthquake and flood detectors) and "Guardian – Protect Lives," which included smart blind sticks and traffic alert systems.
IT (Digital Literacy & Cyber Security): The tech-savvy "Trash Tech" smart dustbin and "TalkTron" interactive learning robot stole the spotlight, proving that SDG-aligned solutions can be high-tech.
Heritage & Culture: From recreations of the Harappan Civilization to "Sacred Groves," students emphasized conservation and India’s rich "Food Heritage" inspired by the G20 theme.
Wellness & Sports: Through "Wellness City," the club promoted holistic health, yoga, and the vital importance of clean water and sanitation (SDG-6).
Logic & Arts: The "Maths Park" creatively explained geometry, while the Creative Strokes Club used artistic models to raise environmental awareness.
A Vision for the Future
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR, Innocent Hearts), who, along with Deputy Directors Sharmila Nakra and Harleen Gulria, praised the students' ingenuity.
"Prismora proved to be a vibrant celebration of teamwork and social responsibility, reflecting our dedication to nurturing future-ready learners." — Principal Rajeev Paliwal
By bridging the gap between classroom theory and global challenges, Innocent Hearts continues to empower a generation of responsible, sustainable-minded citizens.
