Innocent Hearts Reverently Celebrates Founder’s Day on the Birth Anniversary of Late Smt. Kamlesh Bowry

Innocent Hearts reverently celebrated Founder’s Day on the birth anniversary of its Founder Director, Late Smt. Kamlesh Bowry, with great enthusiasm, respect, and dignity. Dedicated to her inspiring memories, the special occasion witnessed the organisation of various inter-school competitions for students from all five branches of the institution — Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road.

The competitions included Live Art, Digital Presentation, Group Discussion, and English Poetry Recitation. Students participated with immense enthusiasm and confidence, showcasing their creativity, talent, and communication skills brilliantly.

The panel of judges comprised Ms. Ravinder from IHGI for Digital Presentation, Mrs. Anuradha from IHGI for English Poetry Recitation, and retired APJ Fine Arts Professor Mrs. Sushma for Live Art. Their encouraging words and valuable suggestions greatly motivated the students.

Teachers associated with Innocent Hearts since its foundation years were also specially invited to the celebration. They fondly revisited and shared memories of the institution’s remarkable journey. The colourful cultural performances presented by the students of Green Model Town and Loharan branches added charm and vibrancy to the celebration.

World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

  Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

THREE DAY “SPORTS CAMP”

  A Three-Day Sports Camp for categories: U-14, U-17 and U-19 was conducted successfully at Innocent Hearts, Loharan under the aegis of BMEMT, covering multiple sports (Cricket, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis and Karate) whereby the winning teams & best players were awarded with certificates & prizes.
