Innocent Hearts Organises Education Conclave on “Heart, Mind & Machine” under DISHA

 













Under the aegis of DISHA – An Initiative, managed by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust (BMEMT), Innocent Hearts organised a grand Education Conclave on the theme "Heart, Mind & Machine" at the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan Campus. The conclave brought together over 100 CBSE school principals, educators, thought leaders and professionals from across the region to deliberate on the integration of human values and intelligent innovation in shaping the future of education.
Welcoming the distinguished guests, Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry, CSR Director, Innocent Hearts Group, shared the inspiring vision of the institution's founder, Late Mrs. Kamlesh Bowry. She  highlighted that Innocent Hearts was established with the mission of providing quality education rooted in strong moral values and holistic development. The event was graced by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bisht, Regional Officer, CBSE Ludhiana, as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Sandeep Rajpal, Principal Private Secretary. The inaugural ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and members of the Advisory Panel, including Mrs. Deepa Dogra (Director, Cambridge International School, Jalandhar), Dr. Vandana Shahi (Principal, BCM School, Ludhiana), Dr. Harmeet Baddaich (City Coordinator, Ludhiana), Dr. Vinodita Sankhyan (Principal, Shri Ram Ashram Public School, Amritsar), Mrs. Parmjeet Kaur Dhillon (Director, Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara), and Mr. Yogesh Gambhir (Principal, DAV Police Public School, Jalandhar). The inauguration was followed by a vibrant cultural presentation based on the theme "Viksit Bharat 2047", portraying the vision of a progressive and prosperous India. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest encouraged educators to continue striving for excellence in education and uphold the highest standards of teaching and learning.The conclave featured a series of insightful keynote sessions by eminent educationists and experts.Dr. Deepa Dogra, Director-Principal, Cambridge International School, Jalandhar, spoke on how humans and machines can work together to create a more intelligent and effective learning ecosystem. Dr. Vandana Shahi, Principal, BCM School, Ludhiana, delivered an inspiring session on "Enhancing Learning Without Replacing Humanity", emphasising the importance of preserving human values while embracing technological advancement. Dr. Arun John Masih, Principal and Managing Director, Baptist School, Chandigarh, shared his perspectives on Inclusive Education and Technology, highlighting the role of technology in making education accessible to all. Mr. Sandeep Kamra, Vice President (Operations), EduCare Limited, addressed the audience on "Connected Parent-School Partnership", stressing the significance of collaborative engagement between schools and parents.
Mrs. Meenu Kumar, an author of several books on Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, delivered an engaging session on "A Cognitive Mind and an Empathetic Heart", explaining the need to balance technological intelligence with emotional sensitivity.
The conclave also featured an enriching panel discussion on "Mastering Digital Pedagogy for Impactful Learning", moderated by Dr. Vinodita Sankhyan. The panel included Mr. Ashish Sahni (Secretary, Sahodaya and Principal, Bal Bharati School, Ludhiana), Dr. Sonia Mago (Principal, Swami Sant Dass School, Jalandhar), Mrs. Rajni Kalra (Principal, DCM Presidency School), and Mrs. Abha Arora (Author and Early Childhood Educator).
Another thought-provoking panel discussion on "Digital Divide versus the Inclusion Bridge" was moderated by Mrs. Parmjeet Kaur Dhillon. The panelists included Mrs. Aarti Dada (Principal, Cambridge International School, Kapurthala), Mrs. Sandhya Diwan (Principal, Cambridge School, Nakodar), Dr. Anju Mehta (Principal, Swami Sant Dass School, Phagwara), Dr. Raman Dua (Vice President, Sahodaya and Principal, Majha Public School, Amritsar), and Dr. Santosh Kumar Gautam (Principal, Dayanand Model School, Jalandhar).
On the occasion, Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group, and Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry presented mementoes to Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bisht, Regional Officer, CBSE Ludhiana, and Mr. Sandeep Rajpal, Principal Private Secretary, in recognition of their gracious presence and valuable contribution.
The event concluded with a group photograph, networking lunch, felicitation ceremony, vote of thanks and high tea. Participants left the conclave inspired by the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in education while reaffirming the importance of empathy, ethics and human values.
The Education Conclave served as a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, professional collaboration and envisioning the future of education where heart, mind and machine work together to create meaningful learning experiences

World Earth Day' under the theme 'A Vision: Green India, Clean India'

  Under 'Disha-an initiative' run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, giving the message of 'Green India, Clean India', many activities were organized on 'World Earth Day'. Through the 'Nurture with Nature' activity, the Eco Club volunteers gave valuable information to the children about making compost pits, separating dry and wet waste, collecting fallen leaves from trees and making beautiful hangings, etc. Children learned to plant trees that provide oxygen round the clock and medicinal benefits of plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, Cactus. Children were motivated to protect the environment and keep the earth clean & green, thereby conserving natural wealth.

Anti-Tobacco Day

  Empowering Youth Through Performance: Street Play on Anti-Tobacco Day by Grade IX & X At Innocent Hearts School , we believe that true education goes beyond textbooks — it empowers students to become socially responsible citizens. On the occasion of Anti-Tobacco Day , students of Grades IX and X took a powerful step in that direction by presenting a street play that raised awareness about the hazardous effects of tobacco .  Theme: Spreading Awareness Through Art Organized under the banner of the Innovation Club , the event aimed to highlight the dangers of tobacco use , which continues to be a major public health concern globally.
