The session introduced students to the rapidly growing AVGC sector — Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics, with a special focus on VFX, CGI, animation and gaming. She explained how these technologies are transforming the entertainment industry and how VFX and CGI are used to create spectacular sequences in films and games. Using popular Bollywood movies such as Dunki and Baahubali as examples, she demonstrated how seamlessly VFX is integrated into modern filmmaking. These examples helped students understand the vast scope of the AVGC industry and the diverse career opportunities available in areas such as animation, visual effects, CGI, gaming and digital content creation. She also shared three important principles for achieving success in life: setting short-term goals and managing time effectively, accepting failures and learning from them, and asking questions while remaining curious. The interactive and informative session provided students with valuable insights into emerging career pathways and encouraged them to explore unconventional fields aligned with their interests and skills. It was particularly beneficial for students aspiring to build careers in animation, VFX, gaming and the wider AVGC industry. The seminar empowered students to look beyond traditional career choices and make informed decisions about their future. Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry, Director CSR, Innocent Hearts Group, emphasised that such initiatives under DISHA aim to expose students to emerging career avenues and equip them with the awareness, confidence and skills needed to make informed choices for their future. The guest speaker was presented with a souvenir by the Principal, Mr. Rajeev Paliwal, along with Vice Principal Mr. Amit, Prof. Rahul Jain, Deputy Director (Schools and Colleges), and Mrs. Ambika Pasrija, Head of the Department of English and Activity In-charge.
