Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, an Annual Prize Distribution Function 'Bestowal to the Best' was organized at Innocent Hearts School, Jalandhar.   Under 'Disha- an Initiative' being run under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, a prize distribution ceremony was organized to honor the sports achievers at National, State & District Level respectively. Around 300 players were applauded & appreciated by the dignitaries at the event. The trust firmly believes that “enhancement of sports” is the need of the hour and it helps to channelize the youth for being socially aware and aids in their all-round development. As a mark of encouragement & promotion of sports, Bowry Memorial Trust provides 100 percent free coaching to the National Level sports achievers. Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust give tremendous concessions, 100 ℅ to National sports achievers , and 50 ℅ to State Sports Achievers and 25 ℅ to District Sports Achievers.

In an endeavour to support social value system, Bowry Memorial Educational & Medical Trust, Under Disha – An Initiative, organized “Academic Excellence Award” Ceremony.   Under the aegis of Disha- an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, the students were made aware of various issues relating to eyes on the occasion of ‘World Sight Day'.   An eminent medical expert Dr. Rohan Bowry( M.B.B.S, M.S. F.P.R.S. -Phaco Refractive Surgeon, Innocent Hearts Eye Centre) shared tips for the well-being of eyes. The session was based on the theme" Love Your Eyes" in which important facts and common eye problems were talked about. The expert Ophthalmologist, Dr. Rohan Bowry,   focused on the need to wear sunglasses so that the eyes can be protected from UV rays. He emphasized that 'Prevention is Better than Cure ' so one should take care of the eyes before it's too late..   With a motive to promote menstrual health of the young school going females, Disha-an Initiative,by Bowry Memorial Educational & Medical Trust,has stepped forward with the installation of the “Sanitary Pads Vending Machine” in order to facilitate  the females at any time as per need & convenience.

    In order to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases, Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust conducted an Expert Talk on the occasion of World Heart Day. The resource person for the session was Dr. Vivek Rana, a renowned Cardiologist, at Innocent Hearts Multispecialty Hospital. Dr. Vivek Rana acquainted the audience with the causes, symptoms and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He further shared some valuable tips to follow healthy dietary habits that control the level of sugar & cholesterol in the body and keeps the heart healthy. He motivated the students to adopt the habit of regular exercise and meditation so as to reduce the stress level of the body.
